Hickory is an all-American classic, among the strongest and most durable woods native to the U.S. In comparison to white oak or hard maple, hickory offers a denser, harder surface that stands up remarkably well in even the most demanding of settings. Our Virginia craftsmen alternate heartwood and sapwood to create an eye-catching, subtly rustic effect with the contrasting shades of light/medium reddish brown and pale, golden-toned brown.
